Upcoming Art Shows
Opening Reception
Dino Discovery

You are invited to the OneHouse Arts family and student exclusive opening reception of Dino Discovery. Dino Discovery is a collection of works that capture the history of life since the dinosaurs roamed earth in pencil, pastel, paint, and patterned paper. After an inspiring field trip to the Alf Museum in Claremont, CA, OneHouse Arts students drew from the artifacts and stories they encountered in the museum’s halls. This collection of drawings is a convergence of arts and science that broadly captures the inquisitive child’s perspective on the museum’s fossil collection. The show will be available to view from July 1st through December 31st. Museum hours are Wednesday-Friday, 11am-5pm and Saturday, 10am-5pm.
Date: August 9th, 2025
Time: TBD

The Magical Forest of the Future: A Carbon-Neutral World Through the Eyes of Children
June 7 – August 31, 2025
Xiamen Village, Heshang Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province
This exhibition is organized by Alt-Space, with venue support from Shang Art Museum, and co-hosted by OneHouse Arts and WHOSMUSEUM. We invite children to unleash their imagination and use their brushes to depict their vision of a “Magical Forest of the Future”—a carbon-neutral world where technology and nature, sustainability and fantasy, coexist in harmony.
Through innocent and heartfelt perspectives, the children’s artworks respond to climate change and express their hopes and visions for a greener future. This is not just an art exhibition—it is a dialogue with nature, the future, and an ideal world.

32nd Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival
June 14-15
This June, OneHouse Arts joined the 32nd Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival for the third year in a row. Our students and teachers created a playful mural called Cartoon Neighborhood, featuring characters and scenes imagined by the children. Teachers helped combine the drawings into one joyful street mural.
This project was part of our mural-making unit, where kids learn collaboration, storytelling, and public art. Through this experience, they felt the joy of teamwork and saw their creativity come to life.
Special thanks to our young artists:
Justin Chen, Kevin Mu, Sofia Tao, Cayman Wang, Camillia Yao Sun, Lucy Chen, Angel Ni, Benson Zhao, Jade Li, Lester Guo, Hailey Zhang, Ian Cheng
