MS. RACHEL
Rachel studied in the MFA program at the California Institute of the Arts and received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Her skills include painting, drawing, and sculpture.
She has taught elementary-level art since 2005.
She aims to inspire children with respect,
nourishing students with the enthusiasm to be self-expressive and creative individuals while developing their aesthetic awareness.

MS. MAVIS
Mavis Figuls is an artist and teacher who lives in Los Angeles.
Most of her pieces are made using pen and ink and focus on the human figure in melodramatic situations.
She studied fine art at The Cooper Union in New York City and graduated with honors. She has exhibited work in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City.

MS. LINDSEY
Lindsey Schmitt is a visual artist and educator that makes paintings, drawings, and textiles. She believes that making art fosters creativity, courage, and problem-solving abilities. As an art teacher, her goal is to make the class a safe space where students explore art and expand their curiosity of the world. She loves sharing information to students so that they are able to develop and advance their artistic skills to express their own individual ideas.
In 2016, she earned her MFA from the University of New Mexico in visual art with an emphasis in painting and drawing. Lindsey has taught as an Elementary Art Teacher in the public school setting, Montessori school setting, and non-profit art organizations as well as a Professor of Studio Art for undergraduate students.

Yumeng Zhang is proficient in sculpture, oil painting, watercolor, multimedia, oil painting, and printmaking. She has rich experience in curation, exhibit design, art administration, public outreach and writing about art.
She received her MFA from Claremont Graduate University and BA from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts.
She served as a specially-appointed teacher at the No. 14 Middle School in Hengshui City, Hebei Province, as a senior art teacher at Hangzhou’s Da Mo Dandelion School. She also serves as faculty at Art Forwards, mentoring international students to build portfolios and receive admission into prestigious schools such as RISD, and serves as an interviewer for China Coast Art (CAAN).
